The anniversary has been good fun, and a few people according to the chats are planning on purchasing the game based on the experience of playing it during the free period.
According to Tobold, Direct2Drive is going to be selling CO for $6. I do encourage people to pick this game up, the creativity of costumes is boundless, and costume sets are often as cheap as $3.

ReplyDelete...argh! I have tried out too many disappointing MMOs lately, stop tempting my poor soul with such info!
Aside from people making clones (Tom Welling costumes, Superman clones, hulk, Mega Man, Spider-man, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Samus Aran, Gundam Suits, Dragon Ball Z characters, and other rip-offs), there are also a ton of original characters. The costume sets also help add a ton of variety to what you can do, and they have many insignias that usable. Someone made a batman like clone called Sharkman, that was so well done, you could forgive the bit of cloning that had to happen (including a shark insignia on his chest).
